The Details

Let’s start with yoga - whether you are an avid practicer or only know downward dog, we can help you access and assess your present state threading breath and movement into a dance-like flow. The Yoga Practices are designed with performance in mind - minus the need to impress anyone. Its simply the act of staying aware of your needs as you move from posture to posture, finding inspiration in what goes well and even in what seemingly fails you.

A library of videos geared towards specific needs is forthcoming - in the meantime, Paige will customize practices for you or your group to work towards achieving your specifics needs. Have a ton of auditions coming up? Yoga for anxiety and focus. Doing eight shows a week and can’t seem to turn off your exhausted engine? Yoga for restoration and reset. In between jobs and feeling stagnant? Fired up flows for catapulting you into creative action.

Drawing from her 15 years of experience in the Broadway industry, Paige also offers individual coaching and classes thru NoS to enlighten and enrich the education of student groups and future artists in hopes of creating more well-rounded and grounded performers. Having created roles all over the country under almost every Actors Equity contract imaginable, Paige leads young creators thru the possibilities that may befall them, both with what to do and what not to do, with humor, humility, and hope. From scene and story-telling study, to creating memorable characters, to managing audition expectations, to creating plans and goal-setting for the future, Namaste On Stage coaching strives to mindfully give purpose to your processes of being an artist, no matter what your skillset or labels may be.

Workshops for High Schools and University’s are available by request - again, formulated to where you are leading your theatre departments for their best success as they become individual enterprises.

About NoS⋆

The vision for Namaste on Stage began while Paige was headlining the National Tour of Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella.

The community that was created on that show inspired hope for what leaders and artists can be to each other despite the competitive nature of being a commercial theater artist. Self-care, self-awareness, and self-motivation becomes a paramount part of how you are successful in our industry, but its rarely taught. Talent takes over - but without tools for balancing your new life as a thriving or starving artist, burnout and anxiety and depression can very easily take over.

Paige surveyed dozens of successful and thriving theater performers from all walks of life - all who had attended top Musical Theater programs all over the country - and asked “What do you feel like was missing from your theatrical education?” Overwhelmingly, the answer was “how to cope”. Cope with being successful. Cope with being unemployed. Coping with the feelings of loss, the “no’s”, the pressure of perfection, the mental and physical stamina of jumping from show to show, the never knowing where you really belong. Namaste on Stage wants to help you find your home - the home within yourself, the deep knowing that your success or failure is not contingent on what job you have at any given moment, but the ability to be at peace with each days offerings, feast or famine, and know your are moving in the right direction.
